Like many of these songs, this was originally written with a particular drummer in mind to throw down the drum parts and bring it to life. Unfortunately, he made zero effort to make that happen, so here we are.

Lyrically, I liked the idea of a girl with a secret "pet" dinosaur that does her bidding. She begs the beast to destroy her crumby town, and it does! Sweet.

The scene unfolds, she's facing an altar
She's praying to the lizard that she calls father
This town and its people have let him down
The hell he brings, it knows no bounds!

They're dressing for funerals every day
Burying friends at an alarming rate

A quiet terror overcomes the townsfolk
...in wondering what evil they have provoked
As night after night, more blood is spilled
and all of their prayers go unfulfilled

"Oh father who ain't in heaven, with your talons and terrible teeth
they will be taught a lesson, bring your righteousness down on thee!"
